What You Will Do:
Lead the end-to-end deployment, upgrade, and configuration of Check Point firewalls as the primary platform.
Support and optimise firewall environments across Check Point and Palo Alto Secure Web Gateway (SWG), ensuring seamless integration with Cisco routing and switching.
Orchestrate firewall rule bases and optimise policies via the AlgoSec platform to ensure continuous compliance and governance.
Monitor firewall health and performance using SolarWinds, providing advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and proactive issue resolution.
Develop and maintain essential technical documentation, including solution designs, ICT change plans, implementation procedures, and testing artefacts.
What You Need to Apply for This Role:
Extensive hands-on experience with Check Point firewall technologies, with a strong focus on builds, replacements, upgrades, and policy optimisation.
Practical expertise with Palo Alto capabilities in enterprise deployments and a strong background in Cisco routing and switching.
Demonstrated experience using AlgoSec (or equivalent network security policy management tools) and SolarWinds (or similar monitoring platforms).
A solid understanding of cyber security frameworks, with practical knowledge of ITIL service management, change management, and configuration management processes.
Proven ability to deliver high-quality technical designs and implementation procedures, combined with strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
