We are looking for a reliable, experienced Plumber based near Baxter to join our team on civil and water infrastructure projects. We want to bring the right tradie on board first to hit the ground running, with a direct pathway to step up into a Leading Hand role down the track.
Plumber – The Role
Installation and maintenance of pipework, valves, pumps, drainage, and water infrastructure.
Read and interpret site plans, technical drawings, and job specifications.
Set out works, verify site levels, and complete testing and commissioning.
Safely operate site plant and machinery.
Provide support to the crew with the opportunity to develop into team leadership.
Hours, Travel & Pay
Shift Structure: 10-hour days Monday–Thursday, 8-hour days Friday (knock off early for the weekend).
Guaranteed Weekends: Strict 5-day week so you get proper time off to recharge.
Travel: Working away Monday–Friday on site in Ararat (~3-hour drive from base, with living away arrangements managed).
Pay: $50-$55 per hour, plus $120 LAFHA per day
What You Need
Living and working away together means team fit is essential—we need someone who is down-to-earth, respectful, and easy to get along with.
Registered or Licensed Plumber (VIC).
Excavator & Skid Steer Tickets (Mandatory).
Minimum 5 years of experience in civil or heavy construction plumbing.
Valid Driver’s License and Construction White Card.
Based in or near the Baxter area for smooth travel coordination.
