The Opportunity
This multi-faceted role involves:
show more- Pay Rate: Highly competitive pay rates of $32.62/hr (Day) - $36.60/hr (Night).
- Shifts: Start on 6 am - 2 pm day shift, moving to a rotating roster of 6 am - 2 pm / 2 pm - 10 pm.
- Physical: Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods.
This multi-faceted role involves:
- Plant & Milling: Operating machinery, including basic plant functions (like mixers), and for Hemmant, control room tasks like managing feed batching, mixing, and pressing. Duties include grain sampling and monitoring machines.
- Forklift & Labouring: Driving a forklift (LF ticket required for Plant/Utilities roles; desired for Weighbridge) for approximately 30% of the time at Wacol. Other tasks include stacking feed bags, re-stacking pallets, and general housekeeping/site cleaning.
- A valid LF Forklift Licence is required for Plant Operator/Utilities Operator roles.
- Adherence to strict Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations, including maintaining awareness of Front End Loader (FEL) operations.
