Your Responsibilities
Preparing surfaces thoroughly including washing, scraping, sanding, and patching prior to application
Applying paint, varnishes, sealants, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
Performing routine maintenance painting on various structures, facilities, and surfaces
Ensuring colour matching and quality finishes meet site specifications
Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work area in accordance with site safety standards
Transporting materials and tools safely around the site
About You
Proven experience as a Painter, preferably within maintenance, commercial, or industrial settings
Relevant trade qualifications in Painting and Decorating (or equivalent practical experience)
Current White Card (General Construction Induction)
Reliable transport and a valid driver's licence
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a solid work ethic
Ability to work safely both independently and as part of a team

Your New Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a trade qualified Maintenance Painter to help deliver essential painting and surface restoration work across a large scale industrial site in Port Kembla. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high quality exterior maintenance painting, ensuring structures are well protected and finished to a high standard. This position offers an initial 6 month contract with a likelihood of ongoing work for the right candidate upon project completion.
