Operations Officer – Big 4 Bank Guarantees ...
Location: Parramatta (Hybrid after 3-4 months full time office training)
Hours: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Contract: 12 month temp contract
- Hourly Rate: $40.84ph + super
The Role
You will join a team managing the end-to-end issuance of bank guarantees. This is a high-volume, fast-paced environment with a strict 24-hour SLA.
Key Responsibilities
Review and verify approved files to ensure documentation is 100% correct before issuance.
Complete rigorous quality and risk checks on lending values.
Collaborate daily with our offshore team to check files and smooth out afternoon handovers.
Adapt quickly to frequent system changes, process updates, and product tweaks.
What We’re Looking For
The Right Attitude: You are reliable, solutions-focused, and completely accountable for your workload.
Attention to Detail: You naturally catch the small errors that others miss.
Pace & Resilience: You thrive when things move fast and can handle high-volume pipelines.
Background: Corporate or office experience
Tech Skills: Tech-savvy enough to pick up systems quickly. Banking experience is a bonus, but not essential.
- Accountability: You take ownership and full accountability of your work
Training & Flexibility
Month 1 (Onsite): Intensive, full-time office training in Parramatta to get you up to speed.
Months 2–4 (Onsite): Continued office-based support until productivity and performance goals are hit.
The Goal (Hybrid): Once independent, you'll move to a hybrid model (currently 3 days WFH, 2 days in office).
