The Company
A progressive Australian superannuation fund dedicated to helping members achieve strong financial futures. Driven by an ethical and risk-conscious culture, the fund places member interests at the heart of every decision and takes pride in delivering transparent, high-quality operations.
The Role
Stepping into a 12-month fixed-term contract, you'll own the way operational incidents are handled across internal teams and external partners, including administrators and insurers. You'll make sure any issues impacting members are triaged quickly, communicated clearly, and remediated in line with APRA and ASIC requirements.
Beyond managing live incidents, you'll lead post-incident reviews to figure out why things went wrong and implement fixes so they don't happen again. You will also manage two direct reports, build a strong risk culture, and keep senior leadership up to speed with clear reporting and insights.
Your Experience
- At least 5 years of background in superannuation, banking, or wealth management.
- Solid track record running operational incident management and root cause investigations.
- Strong working knowledge of APRA and ASIC regulatory standards.
- Confident preparing reports and presenting directly to senior management.
- Demonstrated experience managing, coaching, and supporting direct reports.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and RG146 compliance.
