Randstad are recruiting for an experienced Operations & Recruitment Coordinator to support a QLD Government department based on the Gold Coast. Designed for an adaptable candidate with proven experience in short-term temporary assignments, this fast-paced role is required for immediate cover commencing 21 September through to 5 November, providing high-level administrative, operational, and workforce management support.
In this position, you will play a key role in coordinating end-to-end recruitment and onboarding activities, managing confidential personnel records, and ensuring strict compliance with departmental policies and record-keeping standards. This AO3 position offers an hourly rate of $51.13 plus super, working 36.25 hours per week (Monday to Friday, fully office-based in Nerang).
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
...- Provide comprehensive operational and administrative support to the unit, including meeting coordination, documentation, and stakeholder management.
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment and onboarding workflows, ensuring seamless candidate movement and timely system entry.
- Assist with fleet management and operational support processes, ensuring accurate records, bookings, and vehicle compliance.
- Maintain confidential personnel, HR, and recruitment records with a strong emphasis on data integrity and privacy.
- Support workforce management processes and ensure compliance with internal procedures, legislative frameworks, and record-keeping requirements.
- Deliver professional, high-level administrative services to both internal team members and external stakeholders.
Experience/Skills Required:
- Strong administration background with demonstrated experience in recruitment coordination, onboarding, and personnel records management.
- Previous experience within a Queensland Government department, including familiarity with QLD Gov policies, systems, and record-keeping standards, is highly desirable.
- Must be able to commit to the full duration of the assignment.
- Prior experience delivering operational or admin support within a construction, field operations, or fast-paced industry environment is advantageous.
- Proven ability to handle highly sensitive, confidential employee information with discretion and professionalism.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively across all levels of the business.
