Operational Readiness Specialist
Randstad are seeking immediate applications from available and suitable candidates for the role of Operational Readiness Specialist within a leading mining and resources organisation. Due to ongoing asset upgrades to improve project performance, this exciting contract opportunity is available.
As an Operational Readiness Specialist, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth transition of maintenance projects into operational phases.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Establishing and continuously improving robust processes for operational readiness deliverables
- Developing comprehensive operations and maintenance strategies for projects
- Writing of financial proposals for major projects
- Creating detailed work instructions aligned with maintenance strategies
- Forecasting operational readiness workloads for various projects
- Assist with managing contracting personnel to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion of deliverables
- Contributing to a culture of safety and actively participating in workplace investigations as required
- Building strong relationships across departments to effectively resolve issues
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Demonstrated experience with Operational Readiness of projects
- Previous experience writing financial funding application documents
- Strong communication, teamwork, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead and adapt to change, implement new initiatives, and provide constructive feedback
- Strong and demonstrated understanding of mining operations, equipment, and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent problem-solving skills, including analysis, decision-making, and developing innovative solutions
- A commitment to risk management and achieving results through effective prioritization and execution
- Relevant qualifications in an engineering, technical, or project management discipline are highly regarded
- A valid Driver's Licence
