We have an immediate need for an OO6 Supervisor located in Nerang for a contract starting 10/08/2026 - 15/01/2027 with extensions available to the right applicant.
About the Role
The Supervisor is responsible for assisting in managing and coordinating project planning and delivery activities to maximize project profitability and client satisfaction. You will provide supervisory services for construction, maintenance, and upgrade works, offer condition assessment and inspection services in accordance with KPIs, liaise with customers and subcontractors, and complete scope works, tenders, and estimates as required.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Tender Management: Produce high-quality tender and quotation documentation for maintenance contracts and building projects; prepare accurate, timely estimates, material lists, and construction programs.
Supervision & Leadership: Lead and develop office staff, field staff, and subcontractors while proactively managing staff performance and conduct.
Inspections & Condition Assessments: Coordinate and deliver condition assessment services (surveys/inspections of building elements), collect samples of suspected asbestos-containing materials for laboratory testing, and handle tenancy management/maintenance referrals for housing.
Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe work environment by ensuring compliance with Safety Management Systems, HR practices, employment equity, anti-discrimination, and WH&S.
Business Development: Promote products and services to existing and prospective clients through regular meetings, identifying new opportunities based on emerging trends.
Requirements & Qualifications
Mandatory: Current Open Class C Driver's Licence (QLD or equivalent).
Mandatory: General Construction Induction Training Card (White Card).
Mandatory: Successful completion of a Criminal History Check prior to appointment.
Highly Regarded: Current Builder’s Supervisor Licence and/or a relevant Trade background.
Skills: Strong computer proficiency (advanced Excel skills), excellent written/oral communication, and strong interpersonal skills.

You exhibit strong leadership, initiative, and attention to detail. You display an excellent working knowledge of construction equipment and WH&S procedures, with the ability to work autonomously while contributing to the wider team's service delivery objectives.
