What’s involved?

• A variety of workshop projects based around heavy rotating mechanical equipment, fans, ventilation and compression
• General fitting and new builds, overhauls and modifications
• Shrink fitting of bearings and shafts
• Precision measuring
• Equipment testing
• Use of overhead crane and forklift

What are we looking for?

• Mechanical Trade Qualification
• Previous experience shrink fitting of bearing and shafts
• Proven problem solving skills
• Precision measuring skills and attention to detail
• A great attitude and willingness to learn
• A background in heavy fixed plant / rotating equipment is highly regarded
• Dogging and Forklift Ticket Highly regarded but not essential
• Excellent work references that can support your application

What we can offer you:

• Full time permanent position
• $53 - $54 / hour
• Overtime available
• Day shift Monday - Friday
• Monthly RDO
