What Your Day Will Look Like

Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor and leading hand, your day to day will be dynamic and fast paced, keeping the production facility running at peak efficiency. Your duties will include:

• Performing planned preventative maintenance (PM) schedules across specialised food production lines, including mixing machinery, industrial ovens, high speed conveyors and advanced packaging systems.
• Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical faults during unplanned breakdowns to rapidly restore production and minimise downtime.
• Overhauling, aligning, and repairing pumps, high speed gearboxes, pneumatic systems, and precision automated components.
• Documenting all maintenance work and parts usage accurately using the site’s computerised maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Upholding immaculate Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety guidelines

What you will need, to succeed:

To fit seamlessly into this premium food production environment, you will bring a proactive attitude and the following credentials:

• Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Certificate
• Proven maintenance background within a food manufacturing, beverage, pharmaceutical, or fast paced FMCG plant.
• High level fault finding and breakdown experience with automated high speed packaging and processing equipment.
• Clear understanding of working under strict food safety, hygiene and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
• Exceptional communication skills and a natural ability to collaborate safely within small, fast moving team environments.
• Full Australian working rights
