mechanical fitter (feed mill)

• Servicing, overhaul, and repairing mill equipment (hammer mills, pellet presses, mixers, conveyors, and bucket elevators).

• Routine checks on bearings, gearboxes, belts, chains, and pneumatic lines to minimize plant downtime.

• Rapidly diagnosing mechanical faults, vibration issues, and drive alignment problems across the production line.

• Fitting and commissioning replacement parts.

• Adhering to strict dust safety standards.

What You’ll Need

• Mechanical Trade Qualification required.

• Experience working with industrial manufacturing machinery is highly regarded.

• Background in industrial manufacturing (FMCG preferred).

• Proven ability to multitask and solve problems under pressure.

• Ability to work across a rotating Day and Afternoon shift roster.

• $52ph on dayshift. $60ph on afternoon shift.
