Looking for a hands-on mechanical role with true variety, strong earnings, and clear career progression?

We are seeking trade-qualified or highly experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our Hemmant team. You'll handle a mix of workshop overhauls and field service travel locally and interstate, with opportunities to progress into Service Technician or Supervisor roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, overhaul, install, and commission industrial air/gas compressors, gas engines, and rotating machinery.

• Perform mechanical fault-finding, troubleshooting, and job data logging.

• Complete local workshop tasks and travel for field projects (2–3 weeks at a time; ute and gear provided).

• Support sales and service teams while maintaining positive client relationships on-site.
  
  

Requirements

• Prior expeirence as a mechanical fitter, ideally with compressors experience or in the oil and gas industry.

• Mechanical Trade Qualification
