About your next roleThe Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for positioning and enhancing the ALPA brand while driving strategic marketing, communications, media, and public relations leadership to effectively represent ALPA's purpose and achievements.
Develop, implement, monitor, and continuously improve ALPA's overall marketing and communications strategy
Advise and provide trusted guidance to the CEO, Executive Team, and Senior Leadership Team on strategic communication matters
Deliver dynamic marketing initiatives across social media, the website, annual reports, media engagement, and promotional campaigns
Protect and enhance organizational reputation by identifying, assessing, and managing communications risks
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to help divisions effectively communicate their services and milestones
Oversee media management, public relations, and digital engagement strategies to boost online presence and community visibility
Prepare high-level grant, tender, and award submissions to highlight ALPA's ongoing success and community contributions
Travel to remote ALPA communities as required to capture stories and support local communication initiatives
You are a strategic thinker and highly skilled communicator who can build strong relationships, offer high-level advice to executive stakeholders, and maintain a strong commitment to brand excellence.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar Marketing and Communications role, preferably within the not-for-profit sector
Proven success in brand management, public relations, media engagement, and digital marketing strategy
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
Strong organizational, planning, and project management capabilities with the ability to work independently
Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related discipline are highly desirable
Exposure to or experience working with First Nations corporations or remote First Nations communities is advantageous
