Based at our Taree facility, this leadership position offers a hands-on opportunity to spearhead the setup of a major strategic casting line while optimizing ongoing plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Commissioning: Oversee end-to-end machinery setup, testing, and operational launch for new line installations.
Operational Alignment: Direct daily maintenance efforts, manage contractor workflows, and collaborate with internal partners to hit key project targets.
System Reliability: Implement strategic preventative maintenance routines to boost equipment uptime and long-term performance.
Workflow Management: Direct project timelines, complete regulatory documentation, track milestone metrics, and refine technical processes.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce rigorous safety, quality, and technical standards across all mechanical and electrical operations.
What You Bring
Qualifications: Tertiary degree or trade credential in mechanical, electrical, or a related industrial field.
Background: Proven track record in industrial or production facilities managing capital expenditure works and technical teams. High-speed assembly, canning, or food processing experience is advantageous.
Skills: Excellent technical troubleshooting, vendor oversight, timeline execution, and interpersonal communication capabilities.
Focus: Deep commitment to workplace health and safety protocols alongside a mindset for lean operational practices.
