We are currently seeking a trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter for ongoing work located in Brooklyn. On offer is various shift patterns - day, afternoon and night, including a Thursday - Monday weekend shift.

Maintenance Fitter – The Role
Execute preventative mechanical maintenance and respond promptly to operational breakdown calls.
Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Assist with machinery installations, modifications, fabrication, and shutdown projects.
Complete safety checks (TAKE 5) and adhere to lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures.
Read and interpret technical drawings and machinery documentation.
What You Need
Trade Qualification: Mechanical Fitter, Fitter & Turner, or Cert III in Engineering equivalent.
Experience: 2+ years post-trade experience, ideally in food manufacturing, processing, or fast-paced industrial environments.
Technical Ability: Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical systems and ability to work with work planning/scheduling.
Safety Focus: White Card (Construction Induction) and a strong commitment to safe work practices.
