logistics operations manager

• Daily management of the business to achieve planned/budgeted KPIs, cost outcomes, safety measures, and service levels
• Performing quality checks on materials/stock and identify and report damages, shortages, or quality deficiencies
• Foster and enhance a culture that takes pride in its performance, delivery and work environment and seeks to continually improve
• Working alongside Transport/Warehousing and Operations Support areas to ensure the operation of the shift runs according to plan
• Maintain strong relationships with internal & external customers to ensure high standards of service delivery.
• Ensure a high level of compliance with OH&S requirements and enhance an organised and clean working environment.
• Keeping updated records of inventory and activity logs
• Ensuring the efficient, safe, and secure loading, unloading, movement and packing of merchandise/materials/stock

• A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Possesses a problem-solving mentality and analytical nature.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and make decisions promptly
• A Team Player who sees the value in supporting all parts of the business
• Knowledge & Experience with CoR regulations and Compliance relating to the transport industry
