Machine Operator / Labourer Want to work with a great crew, get your hands dirty, and keep our roads moving? We are looking for experienced Machine Operators and Labourers to join our asphalt paving team.
If you like hard work, good hours, and working outdoors, this is the job for you.
What You Will Be Doing
Operating Machinery: Driving and maintaining asphalt gear like rollers, excavators, bobcats, skid steers, and pavers.
Asphalt Work: Paving, patching potholes, resurfacing, and prepping ground surfaces (grading, leveling, and cleaning).
Ground Labouring: Doing the groundwork to get the job done right—shovelling, sweeping, and using blowers.
Hand Tools: Using general tools, vibratory plates, compactors, and hand-operated emulsion sprayers.
Screed Boarding: Spreading asphalt smoothly under the direction of your Team Leader.
Truck Guiding: Safely guiding and directing trucks while they are moving or tipping.
Safety First: Keeping the job site clean, safe, and tidy.
What You Need to Have
White Card (General Construction Induction)
Valid Driver’s Licence
Machine Tickets (Excavator, Bobcat, Roller, etc.)
Experience in asphalt, road works, or civil construction is a massive plus.
A strong work ethic and a focus on safety.
