legal support officer

This will include:

• Case Administration: Creating and managing case files, data entry, photocopying, filing, and records management.
• Communication: Drafting emails, routine correspondence, and legal documents using templates.
• Court Support: Preparing court materials, lodging/filing documentation, and making deliveries/collections.
• Coordination: Organizing witness logistics, drafting summonses/subpoenas, arranging travel, and setting up video conferences, interpreters, or translators.
• Liaison: Acting as a point of contact for Federal Prosecutors, external agencies, courts, and counsel.
• Research: Conducting basic research and resolving general queries using established procedures

About the ideal candidate:

You will have worked in a similar role, and ideally have the following:

• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, basic research and analysis capabilities, and good organizational skills.
• Mindset: A positive attitude toward change, personal drive, initiative, and high integrity.
• Teamwork & Relationships: The ability to work collaboratively in a team and build positive relationships with stakeholders.
• Judgment: The ability to manage your own workload, meet deadlines, and apply sound judgment using established procedures
