The Details
- Start: ASAP
- Role Type: Temporary Contract (until December 23rd 2026)
- Full Time: 35 hours/week
- Hybrid: 50% in office and work-from-home
- Location: Newcastle NSW
- Pay Rate: $64.05 per hour + Super
- Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia required
Key Responsibilities
- Learning Logistics: Coordinate diverse learning programs and events, including schedule management, booking providers, securing venues/catering, and preparing resources.
- LMS Administration: Manage and maintain the TechnologyOne Learning Management System (LMS) and Digital Course Library, keeping records, training accreditation's, and data accurate.
- Stakeholder Support: Serve as the primary, high-service point of contact for internal staff and external training providers regarding L&D enquiries.
- Reporting & Systems: Generate accurate reporting from the LMS/HRIS for leadership, while maintaining process documentation, process maps, and digital intranet pages.
- Safety & Compliance: Conduct venue risk assessments to ensure accessible, safe training environments that meet guidelines.
Skills & Experience Required
- Qualifications & Experience: Certificate IV in Business Administration and/or equivalent experience in an L&D, HR, or training administration role.
- Systems & Data Management: Proven success administering HRIS/LMS platforms, document control systems, intranet platforms, and accounts payable systems, maintaining high data integrity, accurate reporting, and exceptional attention to detail with minimal errors.
- Advanced Tech Skills: Advanced skills across Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (creating graphs, pivot tables, and dashboards). TechnologyOne experience is highly advantageous.
- Training Delivery: Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and delivering training/workshops to a diverse audience.
- Self-Direction & Problem Solving: Capacity to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and calm problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Time Management: Exceptional priority and time management skills to smoothly handle competing demands.
- Culture & Collaboration: A passion for delivering an exceptional service experience, with a genuine desire to act as an enthusiastic culture and learning ambassador who models organisational values and promotes a positive workplace.
Other Valuable Skills You May Bring
- Practical understanding of competency-based training, the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF), Vocational Education and Training (VET), and WHS Licensing & Ticketing.
- Hands-on experience with process mapping and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proven success participating in HRIS system testing and enhancements.
