Our client is currently offering an opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join a well established and innovative Adelaide company who excel in advanced mobility and motion technology. They are a well respected supplier to both Defence and Non Defence Clients
This is a permanent F/T role based in Adelaide SA
Your new role:
As a Manufacturing Engineer you will:
- Lead the setup of a new automotive production Line
- Manage a team of Manufacturing Engineers and Technicians
- Use lean manufacturing principles to evaluate and optimise processes
- Be responsible for the design and development of the production line
- Conduct thorough capacity analysis in order to meet production targets
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Ensure that all process tooling and suppliers comply with OHS standards throughout the supply chain
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and negotiate contracts as required to maximum efficiency
About you
As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you’ll have:
- A degree in Manufacturing/Automotive Engineering or related field
- A minimum of 5 years experience in process engineering and management
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and lean manufacturing principles
- Knowledge of PMEA, Work instructions and Standard Work Procedures
- Excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience in Automotive production would be highly advantageous
