The Role
In this hands-on engineering role, you will lead critical design decisions, develop high performance core services, and steer the migration toward a modern decoupled architecture. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to solve complex domain problems, engage in proof of concepts, and elevate developer experience across the engineering group.

The Tech Stack & Environment

• Core: Java 17+, Spring Boot 4.x, Microservices, Service-Oriented Architecture

• Cloud & Infra: AWS, cloud-native decoupled systems, resilient architectural patterns

• Tooling: Agentic AI tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI)

• Practices: Modern DevEx, rigorous POCs, security, regulatory compliance, tech obsolescence management

What You'll Bring

• Strong technical depth in Java 17+ and Spring Boot microservices frameworks

• Proven background designing performant, resilient, decoupled cloud systems

• Hands-on experience or active engagement with modern Agentic AI coding assistants

• Proactive engineering leadership with a focus on code quality and developer enablement

• Clear communication skills for working alongside product management, QA, and business stakeholders
