HR Truck Driver – Multi-Drop Keg Deliveries (Physical Role) Location: Abbotsford, VIC | Pay Rate: $40 per hour + penalties & allowances | Shifts: Mon - Fri, 6:00 am starts (10-12 hrs/day)
We have a fantastic ongoing opportunity with Bevchain CUB in Abbotsford for an experienced and reliable HR Truck Driver. In this role, you will be performing multi-drop beverage deliveries across Melbourne's CBD and local areas.
💪 The Physical Demands (Heavy Manual Handling) Please note that this is a highly physical, hands-on role. You will be spending a significant portion of your day outside the cab.
Heavy Lifting: You will be responsible for manually loading and unloading heavy beverage kegs at various drop-off points.
Physical Fitness: Applicants must possess a high level of physical fitness, stamina, and strong manual handling skills to safely manage heavy objects consistently throughout a 10 to 12-hour shift.
🚚 Required Experience & Qualifications We are looking for seasoned drivers who can handle both the vehicle and the route with confidence.
Licensing: You must hold a current and valid Heavy Rigid (HR) Truck Licence.
Minimum Experience: A strict minimum of 1 year of proven HR driving experience is required.
Driving Record: A comprehensive driving history report must be provided.
Reliability: A strong commitment to work, punctuality, and a track record of reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate HR Trucks for multi-drop deliveries in the CBD and local suburbs.
Communicate clearly and effectively with dispatch and site supervisors.
Strictly adhere to all site safety protocols, including PPE requirements and hazard identification.
Maintain a clean, compliant, and professional truck at all times.
