About the Client & Opportunities
On behalf of our client, a major domestic insurer, we are recruiting for multiple positions across their expanding Home Assessing and Claims divisions.

1. Team Leaders – In Office Home Assessing (Minor)
Location: Sunshine, VIC
Salary: $89,000 – $121,000 Package
The Role: Oversee and coach a team of Desktop Assessors managing virtual assessments, scope validation, and cost controls for minor residential claims. Drive operational reporting rhythms, compliance, and handle complex escalated claims.
Requirements: Proven team leadership experience (managing up to 8 direct reports), operational reporting literacy, and strong coaching/estimating capability. Minimum 2 years’ experience in Home Assessing or the Building industry.
2. Desktop Home Assessor (Minor Severity)
Location: Sunshine, VIC
Salary: $81,000 – $108,000 Package
The Role: Manage minor severity residential damage claims end-to-end. Review photos/reports to validate damage causation, compile detailed repair scopes, review supplier quotes, and negotiate fair repair pricing with panel restorers.
Requirements: Essential background in residential building/renovation and extensive estimating experience. Confident using virtual assessing software/tech and skilled in scope creation and conflict resolution.
3. On-Road Home Assessor
Location: Macedon / Bendigo / Goldfields Region (On the road)
Salary: $100,000 – $133,000 Package
Tools Provided: Fully maintained company vehicle, mobile phone, laptop/tablet.
The Role: Act as the face of the business on-site. Travel to policyholder properties to inspect building damage, establish causation, produce precise Scopes of Work, negotiate repair methodologies with builders, and oversee quality fulfillment. (Note: Catastrophe/CAT event travel may occasionally be required).
Requirements: Trade background or hands-on experience in building repair/estimating highly preferred. Strong scoping skills, knowledge of material/labour rates, valid driver's license, and exceptional customer service skills.
