HC Truck Driver & Yardperson – Horsham
We are seeking a reliable, versatile, and safety-focused HC Truck Driver & Yardperson to join our busy Horsham depot. This is a dynamic, dual-role position where you will split your time between operating Heavy Combination (HC) vehicles for regional deliveries and completing essential yard operations to keep the depot running efficiently.
This role is ideal for an experienced driver looking for consistent Monday-to-Friday day shifts, local work, and the ability to be home every night.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Driving: Taking HC trucks out for local and regional deliveries.
Yard Work: Shunting trucks and moving trailers around the depot.
Freight: Loading, unloading, and staging freight.
Forklift: Using a forklift for yard work (if you have your ticket).
Safety: Tying down loads correctly and doing daily pre-start checks.
Paperwork: Filling out your logbook, run sheets, and delivery dockets.
What You Need:
Current HC Licence (MC also welcome).
Solid driving experience and a good driving record.
Know how to safely secure a load and manage your fatigue.
Forklift (LF) ticket is a massive bonus!
