This isn't just a "sit-and-steer" job—you'll be navigating, lifting, chaining down heavy gear, and getting hands-on on the ground. If you take pride in a job well done and love racking up the hours, step right up!
What You’ll Be Doing
Operating HC Synchromesh trucks (bonus points if you can tame a Roadranger!).
Running Vehicle Loading Cranes (CV) safely to load, transport, and unload heavy freight.
Securing diverse loads using chains, dogs, and straps like an absolute pro.
Rolling up your sleeves—getting involved in manual labouring and site setup when required.
Clocking up to 12-hour days with weekly pays to reward your hard work.
What You Need in Your Toolbox
Licences & Tickets:
HC Driver’s Licence (Synchromesh restriction minimum; Roadranger experience highly regarded!).
CV Ticket (Vehicle Loading Crane).
Dogging Ticket (DG).
White Card (General Construction Induction).
Massive Bonus: High-risk Forklift Licence (LF) with experience up to 16 Tonne! 🚜⚡
Skills & Experience:
Proven, hands-on experience operating crane trucks.
Rock-solid load restraint knowledge (chains, tensioners, dogs).
Fitness and willingness for physical, manual labouring work.
Compliance:
Driver History Report (issued within the last 3 months).
Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical + Drug & Alcohol screen.
