About the Role
We are currently seeking skilled and versatile Excavator Operators / Labourers to join our team for long-term sub-divisional projects based locally in Townsville.
This is a dual role requiring a flexible attitude. While you will be operating 15 to 25-tonne excavators, you must also be willing and able to jump out of the cab and perform general civil labouring duties alongside the team when required. If you are a reliable employee who takes pride in high-quality earthworks and doesn't mind getting your hands dirty on the ground, we want to hear from you.
What You Will Be Doing
Operating 15T to 25T excavators for local sub-divisional projects (trenching, bulk earthworks, detailed excavation).
Performing final trim work (highly preferred).
Assisting with general civil labouring on the ground when machinery work is quiet or as project demands require.
Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment.
Mandatory Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following:
Demonstrated Experience: Proven experience operating 15 to 25-Tonne Excavators in a civil/subdivision environment.
Willingness to Labour: You must be physically capable and happy to perform labouring duties as part of your day-to-day role.
Health & Safety: Ability to pass a mandatory pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test and a comprehensive physical assessment.
Tickets & Licenses: RIIMPO320F - Conduct Civil Construction Excavator Operations. A current Construction Induction Card (White Card) and a valid Driver’s License..
Transport: Your own reliable, working vehicle to get to and from site.
Highly Regarded
Demonstrated Final Trim experience will be a significant advantage.
