The Role
Reporting to the Head of People Risk and Compliance, you will balance expert advisory support with hands-on delivery across the business, driving a real impact on a national scale. Your primary focus will include:
... - ER Advisory & Case Management: Providing expert advice on complex employee relations matters, performance management, grievances, and disciplinary processes.
- Psychosocial Safety & Compliance: Managing high-risk matters through a psychosocial safety lens, aligning with WHS obligations, Respect@Work principles, and the firm’s positive duty.
- Award & Wage Controls: Interpreting industrial instruments (including the Legal Services Award) and partnering with Payroll to govern wage compliance controls.
- Policy & Strategy Frameworks: Designing and updating ER frameworks, drafting fit-for-purpose policies, and translating legislative shifts into practical guidance.
About You
You are an ER professional (or HR Generalist with strong ER exposure) who brings strong technical capability in workplace relations, procedural fairness, and a sophisticated approach to managing complex stakeholder environments. You bring sharp commercial judgment, and the absolute discretion required to handle sensitive, high-risk situations with confidence. You are curious by nature and interested in bringing fresh perspectives to processes.
