HR Partners is partnering with a global leader in the medical health technologies space for a newly created 12 month fixed term contract for a Employee Relations Specialist. This is a standalone specialist role in the greater P&C Services structure supporting a team of HR Generalists as the Subject Matter Expert for sensitive and complex Workplace and Employee Relations matters in the organisation.
... Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- End to end workplace and employee relations case management including performance management, absenteeism, code of conduct or misconduct breaches, investigations, non-work related illnesses and injuries, and etc
- Partnering with the existing Employee Relations and Work Health and Safety Specialist functions
- Coaching and supporting People and Culture Services team on handling and resolving matters
- Continuous process and service delivery improvement and excellence
- Misconduct framework and process and policies
To be successful in this position, you will be:
- Strong end to end employee and workplace relations knowledge, skills and experience
- Holistically a minimum of 5-6 years in HR ideally whether as a HR Generalist and/or ER Specialist
- Tertiary and/or higher education qualification (certificate/diploma minimum) in HR or related field
- Further qualifications in employee or workplace relations are highly regarded
- Ideally has come from a similar industry/sector (mixed workforce that is professional and corporate environment)
