The Work
Working within a heavy industrial processing environment on a hospital campus, you will focus on the electrical upkeep, control diagnostics, and breakdown response for high-capacity automated laundry plant equipment.
Plant Maintenance & Diagnostics: Perform preventative maintenance, electrical fault-finding, and control circuit diagnostics on continuous batch washers, commercial dryers, automated monorail conveyor systems, hydraulic presses, and motor control centres (MCCs).
Automation & Controls: Inspect, repair, and service sensors, relays, variable speed drives (VSDs), programmable controllers, and safety circuit systems.
Safety & Hazard Management: Execute daily task risk assessments (JSA/TAK) while operating safely around thermal utilities, high-voltage plant rooms, and automated production machinery.
What You Need
We are tracking for a safety-conscious, trade-qualified Electrician with solid exposure to industrial production plant, automation, or manufacturing environments.
Trade Qualification & Licensing: Cert III in Electrotechnology and a valid QLD Electrical Work Licence (Electrical Mechanic minimum).
Safety Tickets: Current LVR/CPR and Construction Industry White Card.
Pre-Employment Compliance: Willingness to undergo a National Police Check and meet standard hospital Vaccination Personnel Compliance (VPD) requirements.
Advantageous Tickets: Working at Heights (WAH) or Confined Space (CS) qualifications are highly regarded.
