This permanent executive opportunity is ideal for an accomplished finance leader to report directly to the Executive Director & CFO, shaping investment strategy, overseeing taxation services, and driving financial governance across a major managed fund portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
In this Director role, you will steer the strategic direction of investment management, taxation, and financial services while driving high-level corporate governance across the organisation.
...Provide expert investment advice, briefs, and reports on fund compliance, market trends, and performance to executive leadership and oversight boards.
Manage investment strategies for key organisational funds, including equities, fixed interest, managed funds, and superannuation.
Oversee taxation services, ensuring high-level expert advice is provided on complex corporate, estate, and capacity-related tax matters.
Lead, empower, and mentor team members responsible for fund management, taxation, and financial advisory functions.
Maintain deep contemporary knowledge of legislative, regulatory, and financial market environments.
About You
Experience as a strategic leader with executive-level analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
Extensive background in complex investment management, financial governance, and regulatory/taxation frameworks.
Strong ability to foster high-performing, ethical teams and drive continuous business improvement.
An undergraduate or higher degree in Business Management, Accounting, or Economics is highly desirable.
