We’re working with a well known client to source qualified diesel mechanics to join their growing sites across Tasmania. Whether you’re a qualified diesel mechanic or an experienced light vehicle mechanic wanting to increase your skill set to diesel machinery, this role is for you!

The Role
This role offers significant variety. You will be working on a diverse range of equipment, including tractors, harvesters, excavators and machinery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Diagnostics, fault-finding and troubleshooting on modern agricultural and machinery.
- Performing routine servicing, preventative maintenance and major component rebuilds.
- Conducting pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) on new equipment.
About You
We are looking for a skilled professional with a strong mechanical aptitude and a proactive approach to their work.
- Qualifications: You hold a formal trade qualification as a diesel mechanic, or have the ability to upskill to this space.
- Experience: You have a proven background working on agricultural machinery, earthmoving equipment, or heavy transport.
- Work Ethic: You take pride in producing high-quality work, maintain a clean workspace and work well within a collaborative team environment.
- Licence: A current Australian manual driver’s licence is essential
