The Opportunity

Working within a fun, dynamic, and well-established team environment, you will provide critical B2B customer service support to a diverse supply chain network and client base ranging from site personnel to project managers. This fast-paced role perfectly combines handling inbound enquiries with managing outbound order confirmations.

This is a permanent, full-time position. The Customer Service Centre operates between 5:00am and 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, and you will need flexibility to work rotating shifts starting between 5:00am and 8:30am.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Support: Handle B2B customer enquiries promptly and courteously, keeping clients updated on schedules or delays.

  • Order Processing: Process incoming customer orders accurately and efficiently within internal systems.

  • Internal Liaison: Maintain regular communication with sales, production, operations, and scheduling teams to ensure customer requirements are met.

  • Issue Resolution: Escalate complex customer issues to appropriate managers while utilising problem-solving skills to manage conflict.

  • Logistics Collaboration: Liaise with dispatchers as necessary to support cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining optimum service levels.

  • Continuous Improvement: Maintain compliance with standard operational procedures and actively contribute to process improvements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be a motivated professional looking to leverage or grow your experience within the broader supply chain sector.

Requirements include:

  • Proven previous experience in a dedicated customer service, supply chain support, or operational support role.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing a high volume of phone interactions (approximately 50-100 calls per day).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage openly with stakeholders and supply chain partners at all levels.

  • Excellent attention to detail and high proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google suites.

  • Prior experience in industrial supply chain, logistics, or construction materials is advantageous, but absolutely not essential as full training is provided.
