This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Contract Manager to join the team on a 12 month contract based in Brisbane.
The Contracts Manager collaborates closely with different stakeholders to oversee contract and procurement affairs, ensuring smooth and efficient external engagements. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the success of engagements with vendors, partners, and suppliers within the program and associated projects.
Responsibilities of Contract Manager:
- Offer guidance on contractual and commercial aspects for Programs and Projects
- Lead contract negotiations
- Handle review and negotiation of supply contracts with providers
- Provide counsel on contract management, including claims and disputes resolution
- Administer contractual aspects during supply contract delivery, initiating claims as necessary
- Manage claims for variation, change requests, and contract extensions
- Conduct risk assessments for contracts against company standards and procedures
- Assist in understanding commercial and contractual obligations
- Establish and maintain necessary controls for effective contract management
- Manage submissions for payment claims
- Advise on relevant regulations, legislation, and government policies
- Enhance internal processes to meet contractual obligations and minimise risks

- Prior experience in a similar Contract Management role
- Ability to understand procurement framework
- Strong negotiation skills
- Exceptional communication, both written and verbal
- IT Category Management experience preferred but not essential
