About The Role:
The Commissioning Manager is responsible for directly managing and leading the Field Testing team by overseeing the scheduling of works, allocating resources, approving timesheets, managing the on-call roster, providing technical advice, promoting a safety-first and team culture and ensuring the Testing Team has all required tools, resources and processes in place to perform their works safely and efficiently.

This includes being responsible for developing documentation for all pre-commissioning and commissioning tests in a consistent manner via a maintained ITP library. Reviewing and approving cost estimates for commissioning activities, commissioning schedules, ITPs and ITP Registers, staging and cut-over plans etc.

Additionally, the Commissioning Manager will provide mentorship, training and leadership to the wider team with respect to the technical aspects of commissioning electrical infrastructure, and the quality documentation systems used to support this.

Experience:

• Engineering degree or similar knowledge gained through industry experience and training
• Previous experience in directly managing technical field teams
• Previous experience in the commissioning of power system projects
• Previous experience testing Power System Primary Plant and Secondary Systems
• Previous experience developing and implementing commissioning and quality management systems
• Good time management & leadership skills
• Continuous drive for improvement and a desire to learn and assist in the development of others
