About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the Commercial Intelligence Coordinator is a vital role within the Brisbane 2032 Commercial team. You will be a strong team player, directly supporting the development of the commercial program through high-level analysis and strategic planning. You will provide the critical research, insights, and engaging presentation materials needed to drive the business development and partner activities forward. By identifying and evaluating prospective partners and sponsorship categories, your work will help lay the foundation for world-class commercial partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support and coordination to the Commercial team to pursue business development opportunities.
- Conduct research and collect data to support business development activities and potential partner and industry understanding.
- Assisting with documentation of sales strategies, proposals and approaches to securing commercial partnerships.
- Design and construct Commercial team presentations in collaboration with the team.
- Administer the CRM functions to track business development opportunities including coordinating database for prospective commercial partners.
- Prepare regular reporting for the commercial team to track the status of business and revenue-generation. Continually improve reporting and analytics for the team.
- Support business development activities including organising and supporting briefings, meetings and events including travel when necessary.
Skills and Experience
- Degree in Business / Marketing / Advertising
- Strong computer literacy including Microsoft suite and familiarity with CRM databases
- Excellent PowerPoint presentation creation skills
- Ability to conduct detailed research and analysis to provide high quality insights to senior audiences
- Experience preparing regular reporting on sales activities and pipeline status
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrable experience in delivering to deadlines
