About the Role
Randstad is proud to partner with a rapidly growing insurance brokerage based in Norwest, Sydney. As their team expands, they are seeking a dedicated and client-focused Claims Consultant specialising in motor vehicle claims.
This is a pivotal position within the business. You won't be managing rigid call-handling metrics; instead, your primary goal will be delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients during critical times, guiding them seamlessly through the claims lifecycle while representing the firm with integrity and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio & Claims Management: Process new claim notifications efficiently while managing an active portfolio of motor vehicle claims from notification through to final settlement.
Client Advocacy & Guidance: Serve as the "face and voice" of the business. Communicate proactively and empathetically with insureds, educating them on the claims process and setting clear expectations.
Policy Analysis: Interpret policy wording accurately to assess coverage, determine liabilities, and apply relevant excess, warranties, or exclusions.
Evidence Gathering & Estimation: Collect all necessary documentation, police reports, and damage assessments to verify claims and ensure precise estimation.
Stakeholder & Supplier Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, assessors, repairers, and third parties to drive fair and timely outcomes for your clients.
About You
Experience: Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end motor vehicle claims within a brokerage or insurer environment is highly preferred.
Customer Service: Minimum of 1 year in customer service with a demonstrated track record of delivering top-tier service.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; bilingual capabilities in English and Hindi are advantageous.
Attributes: Proactive, self-motivated, adaptable to fast-paced environments, and passionate about continuous learning and career progression.
Work Rights: Full Australian Working Rights (Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident) required.
What’s on Offer
Customer-First Culture: A workplace culture centered on high-quality service outcomes rather than strict average handling time (AHT) metrics.
Career Development: Ongoing personal and professional development with clear pathways for growth within Sydney’s fastest-growing brokerage.
Empowered Impact: Work alongside a passionate management team where your voice matters and you can directly influence operational success.
Competitive Package: A competitive base salary ranging from $85,000 to $110,000 + Super, depending on prior experience.
