Due to a strong pipeline of work and sustained business growth, they are looking for a dynamic Civil Supervisor to join their team in beautiful, sunny Townsville.
The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision, coordination, and successful delivery of pavement construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance projects. You will be the driving force on-site, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate direct construction crews, subcontractors, suppliers, plant, and equipment.
- Project Delivery: Lead daily on-site operations, including effective short-term programming and scheduling of works.
- Site Administration: Manage employee timesheets, verify subcontractor claims, and handle minor project purchasing in line with company procedures.
- Safety & Culture: Conduct site inductions and training. Manage on-site safety by coordinating incident/near-miss reporting and ensuring all plant, staff, and subcontractors operate under strict safety and environmental guidelines.

Requirements:
- Experience: Preferably a minimum of 5 years of experience specifically within civil pavement construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance solutions.
- Leadership: Proven track record in site management, with the ability to motivate crews and hold subcontractors accountable.
- Technical Savvy: Strong understanding of civil project compliance, legislative standards, and the practical application of ITPs.
- Communication: Exceptional communication skills to liaise with project managers, clients, and crews effectively.
