Early Years Centre Director | Leadership Opportunity

Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 Annually (commensurate with experience) + WRP & leadership benefits
Are you a passionate Early Childhood Leader ready to drive quality, inspire educators, and shape a thriving learning community? We are seeking an exceptional Centre Director to lead our North Brisbane service with autonomy, purpose, and strategic vision.
About the Role
In this pivotal leadership position, you will oversee daily operations, champion educational excellence, and foster a warm, inclusive environment for children, staff, and families.
Key Responsibilities
Educational Leadership: Mentor and empower educators to deliver an inquiry-based curriculum aligned with EYLF and NQS standards.
Operational Excellence: Manage centre occupancy, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and daily operations.
Team Development: Drive staff recruitment, retention, and ongoing professional development to cultivate a supportive workplace culture.
Community Engagement: Build authentic, lasting partnerships with families and the local Brisbane community.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications: ACECQA-approved Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent) with Nominated Supervisor approval, or a Diploma in Early Childhood Education with strong leadership experience.
Experience: Proven track record as a Centre Director or Assistant Director managing compliance and staff leadership.
Skills: In-depth knowledge of the NQS/EYLF, strong operational and financial acumen, and exceptional communication skills.
Note: Ambitious Lead Educators or Educational Leaders ready to step up into their first Director role are encouraged to apply!
