With comprehensive, paid classroom training provided, this is a fantastic opportunity to bring your retail, admin, or call centre experience into a dynamic office environment supporting essential community services.
We have 9 openings across two distinct business streams. You will be considered for the stream that best aligns with your availability and preferences.
Choose Your Stream
Stream 1: Monday - Sunday
The Role: Assist customers Queries
The Roster: 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM rotating roster, Monday to Sunday (including public holidays). You will work a set shift for 2 weeks before rotating to a new shift time (e.g., early, mid, or late).
Work Arrangement: Onsite to start. Future hybrid options (minimum 1 day per week onsite) may be assessed based on performance, business needs, and strict home internet requirements.
Interview Process: 30-minute virtual interview via Microsoft Teams.
Stream 2: Monday - Friday
The Role: Assist customers Queries
The Roster: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM rotating roster, Monday to Friday only (enjoy your weekends and public holidays off!). Shifts rotate every 2 weeks (e.g., early, mid, or late).
Work Arrangement: 100% onsite role at our modern Newcastle Contact Centre.
Interview Process: 60 to 90-minute in-person Assessment Centre at our Newcastle office.
What You Bring to the Team
Experience: 2–3 years of face-to-face or phone-based customer experience (Call Centre, Admin, or Retail backgrounds are highly regarded).
Office Ready: Previous experience working in an office environment. Prior government experience is a plus, though not mandatory.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication with strong email etiquette.
Tech Savvy: Intermediate computer skills (proficient with MS Office, Outlook, and Teams). You must be comfortable adapting to new, specialized software quickly.
Compliance: Ability to pass a High-Risk Police Check and provide two positive professional references.
Comprehensive Paid Training Provided
To set you up for absolute success, you will participate in a mandatory, full-time (35 hours per week) classroom training program for your first two weeks, followed by a supported "nesting" period alongside Subject Matter Experts. 100% attendance during the training period is required.
