About your new role
show moreParticipate in a wide variety of arboriculture activities, including tree removal and maintenance, chemical application, utilising specialist equipment.
A high level of skill in the work you do with a strong focus on ensuring safety and following WHS guidelines.
- Tree maintenance, pruning and removal
- Chipper operations
- Chemical application
- Stump grinding
- Training of new staff
What you will need to exceed
A strong sense of teamwork with an interest in ensuring projects are completed to a high standard. Prevous experience as a climbing arborist or worked in a similar role previously and a commitment to safety.
- Certificate III in Arboriculture - Highly Desirable or solid industry experience
- Chainsaw Level 3 - Highly Desirable
- Chipper ticket - Highly Desirable
- 'C' Class license & reliable transport - Essential
- First Aid & CPR - Highly Desirable
- Work Safely in the Construction Industry (white card) - Essential
- Working Safely at Heights - Highly Desirable
- Traffic Management Implementation - Highly Desirable
In addition, you will need to be willing to obtain an MR vehicle licence within 3 months of commencement (If you do not already have one)
