Are you an experienced and qualified Automotive Spray Painter? This is a great opportunity to work on a variety of projects with BCC's fleets.
About your new role
This role is based out of the Fleet Solutions in Wacol. You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of Brisbane City Council’s fleet in combination with:
- All paint work; including preparation of surfaces, applying primer and water-based paint, top coats and touch ups
- Panel beating duties
- Repair and maintenance work
- Completing trade and job related administrative tasks
- Computer savvy
What you will need to exceed
A commitment to safety and ensuring all machinery and operations are conducted according to guidelines and an interest in ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Australian Recognised Trade Qualification - Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing or equivalent – (Essential)
- ‘C’ class driver’s licence
- Water-based paint experience
About the Fleet Solutions
Fleet Solutions maintains services and repairs approximately 4500 Council assets. Council's fleet ranges from chainsaws and lawn mowers to passenger and light commercial vehicles, Mack trucks, rollers, street sweepers and multi-million dollar road paving machines.
