About the Role
As a Billing & Sales Administrator, you will manage end-to-end billing processes and sales administration activities to ensure accurate invoicing, timely reconciliations, and compliant financial record-keeping. Acting as a central liaison across cross-functional teams, you will support the operationalisation of contracts and maintain seamless service delivery for key commercial accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Process, issue, and reconcile customer and supplier invoices accurately within agreed service time frames.
Assist with commercial queries, purchase orders, rate cards, pricing schedules, and administrative support.
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, escalating complex queries as appropriate.
Maintain accurate customer data and records within the CRM database.
Facilitate the smooth transition of won business opportunities from Sales into Operations.
Coordinate contract and commercial approvals across internal stakeholders, legal, and regulatory bodies.
Produce accurate operational and administrative reporting for business key stakeholders.
Key Requirements
Proven background in sales administration, commercial support, or accounts administration within a medium-to-large organisation.
Functional experience in invoice processing, billing administration, and financial reconciliations with high numerical accuracy.
Proficiency across major ERP platforms (such as SAP, Oracle, or Xero) and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Problem-solving capability to investigate root causes of billing discrepancies and deliver efficient resolutions.
Clear communication and stakeholder skills to liaise confidently with internal partners and vendors.
Formal qualifications in Accounting or Bookkeeping (Cert IV or Diploma) are highly regarded.
