This organisation is a large, multi-brand national retailer with a well established presence across its sector. They're investing heavily in their data and digital platforms and moving away from low-code tools in favour of scalable, developer-led solutions.
This role will take ownership of a new supplier-facing platform currently being built by an external vendor, with handover expected in the coming months. You'll split your time evenly between hands-on Azure development and working directly with internal stakeholders to shape the platform's future.
What you'll be doing
- Taking ownership of a supplier platform post vendor handover, managing its development, enhancement and support
- Partnering closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Building features, enhancements and integrations on Azure Web Apps
- Working with the data team to integrate with Microsoft Fabric
- Contributing technical expertise to a broader shift away from low-code platforms
What we're looking for
- Proven experience developing and maintaining applications on Azure Web Apps
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, or the ability to build this quickly
- Confidence engaging non-technical stakeholders and translating their needs into technical outcomes
- Experience inheriting and maintaining a platform built by an external vendor is highly regarded
- Familiarity with Power BI is a plus, though not core to the role
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field (or equivalent experience)

- Permanent, full-time position
- $130,000 + Super
- Location: Melbourne
- Onsite presence required 4 days per week, 1 day work from home
- Start date: mid-November 2026
