With this role, you could already be an experienced service manager, or maybe a master technician or workshop manager ready to spend more time off the tools, as long as you have strong mechanical knowledge, this could be the role for you!
The Role
Your key responsibilities:
- Mentoring, leading and supporting a dedicated team of Technicians, Service Advisors and the Workshop Manager.
- Maximising workshop capacity, labour recovery and overall operational efficiency.
- Actively managing financials, KPIs and open repair orders while continuously identifying avenues to boost profitability and streamline processes.
- Cultivating a workplace culture built on teamwork, continuous improvement and accountability.
- Partnering with the Fixed Operations Manager and other department heads to hit wider dealership targets.
What You Need to Succeed

To be considered, you will need:
- A proven track record in an automotive dealership management position
- A history of successfully boosting workshop efficiency, productivity and bottom-line profitability.
- Exceptional people-management skills with the ability to motivate, coach and hold a team accountable.
- Sharp commercial acumen and a deep understanding of standard dealership service KPIs.
- Outstanding communication skills and a genuinely customer-centric mindset.
- qualification in light vehicle mechanics is highly desired
