Your Role
Joining a collaborative team in Rydalmere, you will be involved in high-quality assembly and manufacturing processes. Your day-to-day will include:
- Performing mechanical processing, hand-tool assembly, and testing.
- Conducting soldering and integration to IPC standards (training provided).
- Preparing basic technical reports and following operational procedures.
- Contributing to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) improvements.
- Driving Lean process improvements and maintaining accurate records.
Skills & Experience
Entry-level candidates are strongly encouraged to apply! If you have basic hand-tool assembly or production experience, we want to hear from you.
To be successful, you will bring:
- Experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or production environment.
- Basic experience with hand tools (soldering experience is a major bonus, but not essential).
- Competence in oral and written communication with a working knowledge of MS Office.
- Structured problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
- An interest in LEAN or continuous improvement (highly desired).
Good to Know (Eligibility)
Because you will be working on cutting-edge projects within the Defence sector, specific security requirements apply:
- Applicants must be Australian citizens and be eligible to obtain an NV1 security clearance.
- Prior to an offer of employment, you will need to successfully complete pre-employment police and role-dependent medical checks.
