About your new role
The Project Officer is responsible for assisting in project management and coordination by monitoring deliverables , maintaining project schedules , and utilising project and task management tools. Their day-to-day duties involve performing various administrative and operational support tasks , undertaking research to inform project activities , and drafting written materials such as briefs, reports, and presentations. They also play a key role in quality management by supporting monitoring and evaluation activities , identifying opportunities for continuous improvement , and managing project risks or issues.
What you will need to exceed
... - You will need the ability to apply project management methodologies to plan, monitor, and deliver work within set timeframes and outcomes.
- You need the ability to use computer and software applications, including Microsoft Office and the NDIA's business applications, such as their client records management (CRM) system.
- You must be able to communicate information clearly and concisely through written briefs, reports, and presentations on moderately complex matters.
- Success requires using professional judgement to make decisions within defined parameters, identify problems, and establish treatments to mitigate risks.
- You must be able to build and maintain productive working relationships with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
