Randstad is seeking experienced administration staff to join our client working in a fast-paced, process-driven environment under limited direction. You will utilise your personal judgement, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities to perform key administrative functions and support your team.
In this role, your core functions will include:
Application Processing: Performing initial assessments of applications and managing the end-to-end assessment of non-technical applications.
Data & Record Management: Accurately entering application details, recording regulatory decisions in internal databases, and maintaining agency records.
Stakeholder Liaison: Building and sustaining positive professional relationships with team members, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to ensure efficient processing.
Customer Service: Delivering sound advice and customer service via telephone and written correspondence in line with agency service charters.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensuring strict adherence to legal requirements when preparing and distributing official notices, decision documents, and confidential commercial information.
Time Management: Managing incoming enquiries and additional applicant information while meeting tight statutory and internal timeframes.
To be a strong contender for this position, you must demonstrate:
Organisational Skills: Well-developed planning skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes during peak periods.
Administrative Experience: Demonstrated experience in administrative work requiring high attention to detail and precise record-keeping.
Teamwork & Adaptability: A flexible, collaborative approach to teamwork, with a proven ability to proactively establish effective working relationships.
Technical Proficiency: Confidence using computer-based software and the agility to pick up new internal systems quickly.
Communication & Customer Service: Minimum of two years experience in a customer service environment with strong oral and written communication skills to handle diverse verbal and written enquiries.
Desirable: An interest or relevant qualification in a scientific field is considered a plus, but is not mandatory.
