What You Will Be Doing
Audit Coordination: Manage the delivery of the internal audit program and oversee the contract with the external audit service provider.
Risk and Assurance: Drive the continuous improvement of audit and risk management frameworks while coordinating external reviews and compliance assessments.
Business Continuity: Develop, maintain, and test business continuity plans to ensure ongoing organisational resilience and preparedness.
Stakeholder Engagement: Prepare high quality reports and briefings for senior leadership and support the ongoing operations of the Audit and Risk Committee.
Monitoring and Reporting: Maintain the audit recommendations register to ensure the timely monitoring, escalation, and closure of agreed management actions.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Proven background in internal audit, risk management, assurance, or business continuity within a complex or government organisation.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to monitor frameworks, evaluate processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Communication: Highly developed written and verbal communication skills to prepare clear briefings and engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
Organisational Ability: Excellent time management skills with the capacity to manage vendor contracts and oversee multiple audit milestones.
