In this position, you will work within the Human Resources Program Support team to provide direct operational assistance to program managers, team leaders, and regional staff. You will play a key role in delivering end-to-end HR services, managing employee inductions and exits, supporting establishment/payroll activities, and utilising HR systems for data analysis and reporting.
The hourly pay rate for this position is at the AO4 level, ranging from $60.06 - $65.82 per hour plus super, depending on experience. This is a full-time casual assignment based in Nerang, with an initial duration of 12 months and the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advice and guidance to managers and staff on routine HR policy, procedure, and legislative matters.
- Coordinate regional employee onboarding, inductions, and exit processes.
- Assist with establishment management, payroll activities, and standard HR documentation.
- Utilise Human Resource Information Systems platforms for data entry, data interrogation, and generating regular operational reports.
- Support regional culture and recognition initiatives, as well as continuous business improvement activities.
Key Requirements:
- Applied knowledge and demonstrated evidence of experience in Human Resource Management practice and principles.
- Prior exposure to project environments or a public sector setting is highly regarded.
- Strong analytical and research skills with proven judgment in decision-making and problem resolution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on building collaborative, customer-focused relationships.
- Self-directed work style with the ability to act proactively, handle unexpected priorities without supervision, and know when to escalate issues.
- Experience using Human Resource Information Systems for data entry, interrogation, and routine reporting.
- To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid visa with no work restrictions.
